Job Summary:
Opening in Scurry, TX for a Medical Director with a large behavioral healthcare organization. The need is for someone to oversee the medical operation, services and integrity of the program, medical management, establishment and maintenance criteria for ambulatory detoxification. This is a full time position offering competitive pay plus benefits!
Job Qualifications:
Medical doctor degree required. Certified addictionologist preferred.
• Must possess an understanding of the nature of the disease concept and recovery and how medical care contributes to outcomes and sustained recovery
• Minimum of 5 years experience in drug and alcohol treatment preferred
• Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role and demonstrated abilities to mentor and develop staff preferred
• Maintains active Malpractice Insurance in the state of practice.
